You all know I have a hard time following a recipe and really just functioning as an adult human most of the time, so I’m always on the lookout for an easy, yummy recipe to feed my family, and here is one!
Y’ALL! When I tell you these biscuits taste like you spent days making them, and I tell you they are only two ingredients, you will be shocked!!!!!
This is a recipe I found on Facebook from a creator called Josh Wood. He is reassuring in his video that these are the easiest biscuits to make and not to be intimidated, and boy, was he right!!
Ok, here it is.
2 cups self-rising flour in a bowl
2 cups heavy whipping cream
Mix well but not too much, flour a clean surface, and knead just until it comes together.
Pat out until about ¼ to ½ inch thick; use a cup or cutter to cut out the biscuits, place on a baking dish, brush a bit of heavy cream on top, and bake at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes. Brush with butter fresh out of the oven, and enjoy!
I made these this morning, unsure how this would turn out, and we were all happy!
What an easy, fun biscuit recipe from Josh and his grandma!
