Love Language

  Welp, we made it y’all! Welcome to our wonderful Mercantile store. I hope you all will love it as much as we do. We aim to make your online experience with us much like the personal and friendly environment of a bye-gone era, The Mercantile Store. We want to welcome you as friends and family. We would like to share a little of our madness with you and hear all about yours in return, LOL.

  Now for a little about me: I’m a 47-year-old wife, mother, daughter, and sister.  I’ve been married to my saint of a husband for 23 years, and we have four well [6 7 8… you get the point] wonderful children.  Now that most of my chicks are grown, I’ve needed something to put all my mother Hen's energy into, and I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life and sharing it with all of you. 

   I’ve had a passion for fashion all of my life, and my only accessible styling models so far have been friends and family. I can't wait to share my styling ideas and tips with people of all shapes, sizes, tastes, you name it. 

  With all the knowledge passed down or picked up over the years, I have gathered thousands of recipes, home remedies, household tips and tricks, and life hacks that I will happily share with Y’all in future blogs. Cooking, baking, and nurturing are a significant part of my love language. As such, I have dedicated many years to making the lives of my loved ones as uncomplicated as I could make them and easing their burdens as much as I could.  And now, you, too, are part of our friends and family.
