Today, on Patriot Day, we remember one of the hardest days in our nation’s history—September 11, 2001. It’s a day that changed everything, but more than that, it showed us just how strong and united we can be when it matters most.
On that tragic day, we lost so many lives, and the pain was felt across the country. But in the midst of that heartbreak, something powerful happened. People came together. We put aside our differences—whether it was politics, religion, or the color of our skin—and we stood as one nation, united by grief and the determination to support each other.
Patriot Day isn’t just a day to remember the past. It’s a reminder of the strength we have when we come together. The bravery we saw in first responders, the kindness of strangers helping one another, and the outpouring of love from coast to coast showed the best of who we are as a people.
As we take time today to reflect, let’s remember the heroes who stepped up when we needed them most. Let’s honor the families who lost loved ones and keep them close in our hearts. And most importantly, let’s carry that sense of unity with us every day.
No matter what differences we might have, we are one nation, under God, and we’re stronger when we come together.
Romans 12:9-10 - Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
